The $500 referral offer, terms and conditions.

The conditions that keep the program fair, in full.

  1. PromoterThis referral offer is operated and funded by Paul and Melissa Kotze (“Team Kotze”). Paul and Melissa Kotze are solely responsible for providing the $500 Visa gift card reward. Ray White Townsville does not fund the offer and is not responsible for paying or providing any referral fee or reward under this offer.
  2. Who can participateReferrers must be aged 18 years or over. Self-referrals, agency employees and referrals made under a separate paid referral arrangement are excluded.
  3. How to referIntroduce a property owner to Team Kotze before the owner appoints Team Kotze to sell their property. Provide your name and contact details, together with the owner’s name, property address and contact details. You must obtain the owner’s permission before sharing their information and tell them you may receive a referral reward.
  4. Eligible referralsThe introduction must be new to Team Kotze. Owners already in active discussions with Team Kotze about selling the referred property, or whose property is already listed with Team Kotze, are not eligible. Team Kotze will confirm referral eligibility in writing.
  5. When the reward is earnedThe referred owner must appoint Team Kotze to sell the referred property through a signed Form 6 sales agency agreement with their agency. Team Kotze must sell the property, the sale must settle successfully, and the agency must receive its agreed sales commission before the reward becomes payable. No reward is payable for an appraisal or signed Form 6 alone, or if a sale does not settle.
  6. RewardThe eligible referrer will receive one Visa gift card loaded with AUD $500, supplied by Paul and Melissa Kotze within 30 days after settlement and receipt of the agency’s commission. One reward is available per property sold, regardless of the number of owners. If more than one person refers the same property, the first eligible referral recorded by Team Kotze will qualify.
  7. Card conditionsThe reward cannot be exchanged for cash. The card issuer’s terms, expiry date and usage restrictions apply and will be provided with the card. Visa is not a sponsor or administrator of this offer.
  8. Introduction onlyReferrers are not authorised to act on behalf of Team Kotze or Ray White Townsville, provide agency services, negotiate a sale or make representations about a property or the agency. Referrers do not need to list their own property or purchase any services to participate.
  9. PrivacyYou must have the referred owner’s consent to share their information with Paul and Melissa Kotze and Ray White Townsville for contact about the proposed sale. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the agency’s privacy policy and applicable privacy laws. The owner is under no obligation to appoint Team Kotze.
  10. Changes to the offerThe offer may be changed or withdrawn for future referrals. Changes will not affect eligible referrals already confirmed in writing. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
